DIRECTOR OF VIDEO PRODUCTION

JT Armstrong is a portrait photographer and content creator for the RunNGun YouTube channel. He developed an interest in photography at the age of five, photographing classic cars with disposable cameras in his home city of Detroit Michigan.

He joined United States Air Force in 2014 as a Photojournalist. In 2018 he was one of five Air Force photographers selected to attend Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse Advanced Military Photojournalism program. After graduating from Syracuse, he became the video director for the U.S. Space Force, leading visual communication efforts for the service.

Heavily inspired by his design and animation background, JT is known for his colorful neon portrait photography. As Director of Video Production for Premium Light Academy, JT hopes to share his passion for photography with students across the world.
